Nanoidsis a fresh and exciting space shooter game where you defend your planet Petra from the onslaught of the Nanoid invaders. On the  left side of the screen you will find the rather small directional pad to allow your ship to maneuver while on the right side are your weapons. You will encounter different kinds of enemies and from the beginning the game will starts on a crazy fast pace and almost immediately you will be on a mad dash to survive. There are powerups and gold coins along the way to help you upgrade your weapons. The missions are incredibly challenging. I havent even squeaked by the first two levels yet - adding further to my interest in the game. This shoot em up is far from predictable. Its crazy fast and challenging, but its also very, very addictive. The game controls are a bit too small and often difficult to control. I can also barely see my ship - and by the time I do, its often too late. Also kill stats or some indication of how far Id gone to accomplish my mission would be helpful - and maybe its just me, but adjusting the level of difficulty would be great, too. I want to be able to move up and not die trying! The graphics and in-game sounds are top notch and I especially like the campy music to go with the retro sci-fi arcade feel of the game. When I had my first crack of the game, the first thought that came to mind was - "So this is how Star Wars feels like!". Excellent game destined for space shooter greatness.

It is hard to see your ship while you are maneuvering. You are also limited in movements. I definitely like meteor blitz better.

The controls of the ship simply dont do. This is one of those shooters you need to see where your thumbs are being placed and they dont offer to use the tilt function, so my money Is wasted. Shame, the game looks good, but I just cant enjoy it due to bad control scheme! Perhaps you can give an update that will make this game playable.

This game is truly awesome the graphics great game play great, my only issue the only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars the controls are terrible both thumbs on the screen come on how about 1 button for your bombs touch when ready an 1 thumb to move your ship auto fire please guys fix this problem you would have an awesome game .

The game itself is fantastic. The graphics are nice though not amazing (the backgrounds and handdrawn stuff are cool but the ship and enemies are a little plain.) The difficulty goes from easy to super hard kind of quickly but most of that is due to the controls(more later). The music is pretty sweet and the storyline is cool too. The only huge problem is the controls. The dpad mode is completely useless. My ship was flying all over the screen with the slightest movement of my thumb, and the fire and bomb buttons are too small and too close. Honestly, this control scheme should just be axed. I cant think of any way it would work for this game. They should be replaced with a tilt to move, touch to shoot option or something useful like that. The touch controls are better but I HATE that autofire is always on (soo many games are guilty of this). That made Dendro or whatever nearly impossible to beat, as every movement i made meant getting hit with a barrage of asteroids (for those who cant figure out how to beat him, dont fire at him while hes flying in figure 8 or he will shoot asteroids everywhere, wait until he only moves side to side). Plus were being scored on accuracy, so we should be able to move without shooting. It would be way better if there was an option for one finger touch to move, and a second finger anywhere on the screen to fire. And bombs should be activated by a button, double taps are not shooter friendly. The last thing Ill say is it would be sweet if when a new weapon is picked up, the old weapon is dropped as a powerup so we can pick it up again if we didnt mean to grab or dont like the new one. This game would definitely get 5 stars from me if the controls were upgraded.

Great shmup! Love the $ aspect and ability to replay levels in order to earn $ for upgrades. Makes game stand out from other shmups. A must have!

very good game. i gave it 4 stars because your finger covers the aircraft and its hard to avoid being hit sometimes. i think it needs an offset for ur aircraft position. (it would be great to make the offset an adjustable setting)

Pretty mediocre as far as classic overhead shooters go. There are tons of better ones elsewhere on the App Store.

It was totally not what i thought of the icon after i played this shooting game, it is clear that i was shocked, but it does not matter, good shooting game!

Nice graphics, nice game.

This game really pissed me off! Lovvved this game at first. Had me hooked for three full days until I shut off my phone and lost everything I worked for! Tested again and sure enough I lost everything again. Game does save after shutting off phone.

The game starts of great, just the right amount of difficulty, but once you get to the 3rd and 4th levels, you realize how frustrating this game can get. In order formy weapons to stand a chance against the stronger enemies, I was forced to play the first and second level over and over again in order to earn the money for upgrades. After I finally unlocked the sun, I tried it, and killed only 9 enemies on my first run. The smallest enemies seem to have more health the the first boss. Good game, but maybe have difficulty levels in the next update.

This game is hard to the point of not being fun. The map only has like five levels and it seems like its trying to make up for this by making you retry level after level in order to get cash to upgrade your ship. It doesnt tell you what any of the upgrades do either which further frustrates the player. There are numerous enemies right from the first level that can kill you very fast or in one hit, making this too frustrating to bother with.

AH!!! MAZE!!! ING!!! GAME!!!!! I have been addicted to this game since I got it! I got it for free but I would have bought it. Must buy.

If you have the free version dont get the update it just stops letting you play

The ship is too big, no relative controls, enemies coming from below, terrible death music, no instruction on the shop, ugly design --- its not enough to recommend in this crowded genre.

The game design and the resulting product are ok, although what some reviewers are saying about coming back to previous levels to farm money is sadly true. Even tho the graphics are like 3D from the 90s and the sound is pathetic to say the least, the game is actually fun and entertaining in every aspect. I would definetively play this over the poorly designed but good looking roswell fighter.
